Set up Smart IPTV (SIPTV) with your IPTV4Cheap login: 10 steps

1. Install the app and photograph the MAC

   Search the TV store for Smart IPTV, install it and launch it once. The opening screen shows a MAC made of six pairs of characters split by colons. Take a phone picture of that screen now. Copying twelve characters by eye is where most failed uploads begin, and a photo costs nothing.

3. Reopen the app on the television

4. Get used to the remote controls

   Arrows move between groups and channels, and OK plays the highlighted one. The channel list and guide menus sit in slightly different places on Samsung, LG and Android editions. Spend two minutes clicking around alone, so you can show the rest of the household later without guessing.

5. Know where SIPTV stops

   Smart IPTV is a light live-TV player fed by a playlist. It has no Xtream sign-in, so there is no tidy on-demand dashboard, season browser or resume point. That trade-off is why it runs well on older sets. When you want catch-up and proper film menus on the same TV, a free Xtream player is the better match.

6. Set the television clock

   SIPTV reads the time from the TV, so a wrong zone shifts every listing. On Samsung, open System Manager, Time, Clock. LG owners on webOS 6 or later use General, System, Time & Date; earlier LG sets keep Time & Date directly under General. Turn automatic time on and pick the correct zone.

7. Check audio and caption options

   While a channel plays, open the app menu to see whether a second soundtrack is offered. Most live channels carry just one. Caption menus under Accessibility on Samsung and LG mainly affect broadcast TV, so subtitles inside SIPTV depend on the stream and the model of television.

8. Pay the player fee only when you are sure

   When the trial ends, open siptv.app/activation and pay against the same MAC. The fee is 5.49 EUR per TV, paid once, and the developer states that no channels come with it. Pay by card without a PayPal account or with crypto. Use the trial to confirm your IPTV4Cheap channels play well first, since the money buys only the app.

9. Share one plan across the house

   Every extra television needs its own SIPTV activation, because the licence is tied to one MAC. Streams are a separate matter decided by your IPTV4Cheap plan. Two TVs watching at the same time need the 2-device plan, which costs 119 dollars for twelve months, cheaper than two single yearly plans.

10. Store the M3U link safely

    SIPTV has no account you can recover, so the M3U address is your only key. Pin the WhatsApp message or keep the link in a password manager. Anyone holding it can use your streams, so never paste it into public groups. You will need it again after any reset or TV swap.

Common Smart IPTV (SIPTV) problems and free fixes

The website accepted the list but the TV is empty

Wait a minute, then fully close and restart the app. Compare each MAC pair on the website with the photo of the TV screen. SIPTV reads a new list only at launch, so an old copy can stay on screen until that restart happens.

siptv.app refuses the MAC address

The site recognises a set only after the app has run on it at least once. Start SIPTV on the television, let the MAC screen load, then try the form again. Type the colons too, and check that similar characters such as zero and the letter O are not swapped.

Menus lag on an older television

Older sets run short of memory with long playlists. Upload again with Save online ticked, switch the TV off at the wall for a minute and avoid running other apps alongside. If lag continues, ask IPTV4Cheap support on WhatsApp whether a lighter playlist suits your model.

The guide is blank for every channel

Detect EPG was probably unticked during upload. Repeat the upload with that box ticked and relaunch the app. The first guide download can take several minutes. When only one group stays empty, those channels simply publish no schedule.

A trial expired notice blocks playback

This is the developer asking for the one-off player fee, not a problem with your subscription. Pay at siptv.app/activation using the MAC shown on screen. Your IPTV4Cheap plan dates stay exactly as they were, and playback returns once the payment is confirmed.

The MAC changed after plugging in a cable

TVs have separate network chips for Wi-Fi and wired connections, and each carries its own MAC. Upload the list to whichever address the app displays now. If you paid on the other one, contact the SIPTV developer rather than paying a second time.

On-demand titles are buried in the list

An M3U file can mix on-demand entries in with channels, and SIPTV shows them as plain rows. Hide those groups where your edition permits it, or request a channels-only link from support. For proper film sections and search, use an Xtream player on the same TV instead.

Sound plays over a black screen

The TV chip may not decode the video format of that stream. Switch to that channel in HD, a format older sets decode more easily. If a whole category behaves this way on an ageing TV, a low-cost streaming stick is the lasting fix.
